Shizue Kido studied oil painting at Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. Her contemporary paintings have been exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. She has had solo exhibitions at many Tokyo galleries including Gallery Tamaya, Gallery Miyuki, Gallery Sao, Gallery Tomosu, Gallery Center Point, and Gallery SOL. Her work has been exhibited in China, Korea, and the United States.
