Cristina Cardenas

A painter, lithographer and mono-print maker from Guadalajara, Mexico, Cárdenas creates art that disrupts stereotypes and explores the challenges of belonging to a cultural community and forming an individual identity. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in printmaking in 1990.
