Virginia Rose is a multimedia artist who dances through the realms of music, theatre, performance art, photography, poetry, and letters to editors. She is entranced by fashion and the thrill of the hunt. Currently, she is writing a book about her global thrift store shopping experiences, entitled “Otra Vase.” Her forte is the epiphany of the costumed body.

There are these pieces in my life that fascinate me
A dot, a line, an occasional shape
Opening the birth passage for the creative spark
The journey towards truth
Like a wave
Has swept me away many times
And, knowing I cannot fail,
I sally forth anew at each juncture
Untried angle
